How are you going to make dad feel extra special this year? Father’s Day is June 21st, and to have a great day, it’s best to have some activities planned for maximum fun. Here are five ideas to get the whole family involved and having a great time, all while celebrating the man of the house! Mini Golf: Whether dad is an experienced golfer or just enjoys a little friendly competition, mini golf is an activity that the whole family can enjoy. Make it a little competitive, wager some ice cream as a prize or head to the driving range if you want to start teaching the young ones more skills! Baseball Game: America’s favorite game is a great way to spend the day! Take dad to the ballpark and enjoy some fresh air, good food and fun times. Major League games are great, but tons of AAA and minor leagues are around with cheap tickets! Save on parking and refreshment costs while still enjoying a game! Hit the Trails: Forest preserves, trails, nature walks or even just the sidewalks of the neighborhood make a great place to get outside and active. Bring the dog, grab the bikes or just walk and talk. A beautiful June day can include tons of activities, including those outdoors! Movie Night: After a long day of activities, playing outside or just enjoying one another’s company, the perfect ending is a movie night. Grab your favorite snacks (dad’s favorites of course) along with some classic movies that you know he loves. Get comfy with pillows and blankets and wind down the evening with a classic family favorite. Water Adventures: Depending on where you live, this Father’s Day could be a scorcher! Cool off at a lake, on the river, in a pool or at a waterpark. Water activities are great for the whole family and bring you back to feeling like a kid again! Let dad pick where he wants to make a splash and go for it! Garbett Homes is one of the premier [new home builders in Salt Lake City](http://www.garbetthomes.com/).
